Western Craft Contracting Ltd. is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team on the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in high-end custom homes and large-scale residential renovations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and works well with others.
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced carpenter with strong framing and finishing skills
Ability to lead small crews and work alongside subcontractors
Strong understanding of residential construction practices
Able to read plans and coordinate day-to-day site activities
Organised, motivated, and dependable
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Red Seal certification is an asset but not required
Responsibilities:
Assist the Forman/Supervisor with daily site operations
Lead and mentor carpenters and apprentices
Ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
Maintain high-quality workmanship standards
Problem solve and help keep projects moving forward
