Are you a Sunshine Coast (or other out-of-town) resident who needs a regular place to stay in the city? I’m looking for someone wanting to share use of a fully furnished bachelor in Ambleside (West Van).
I lease a suite close to Marine and 17th so I have somewhere to stay during medical appointments/treatments in the city. Building is quiet, non-smoking, no-pets with bus, groceries, banks, drugstore, post office 1-1/2 blocks away plus rec centre, library and seawall one more block. It’s a 15 minute bus ride to Vancouver center & 15 minute walk to Park Royal.
I use it on an as-need basis and usually know my schedule a month in advance, but it is vacant for up to 2 weeks per month if someone can be flexible with their dates or needs a place to hang their clothes on a somewhat irregular basis. Would suit a professional doing contract work in the city or someone who just wants a place to stay while visiting friends/family. Could also do a per diem rate as long as it's a minimum of 7 days a month.
Prefer a quiet professional female to share rent/heat/internet. Interested parties need to be bondable since furnishings are mine and utilities are in my name. Requires $100 deposit for entry fob and $500 security deposit.
This arrangement would suit someone with a flexible schedule. Rent is currently $1900/month; hydro and internet are $100+/- per month; $70/month off-street parking (but there's usually always parking available on street).
