What does it take to be a Women Support Worker? You must have a belief that a woman is the expert of her own life and be able to support her with empathy, dignity and hope. You have a strong desire to support women of all ages and backgrounds exactly where they are at, an understanding of the feminist analysis of gender violence, education in a related field, and experience working with women and children who have experienced trauma.
