Thyme Second Stage Program
30 hours per week- 10 week position from June 24- August 30, 2019.
Thyme Second Stage is a program for mothers and their children who have experienced or been exposed to violence and/or abuse. Families live at Thyme and receive housing and support that helps them move towards independent living and safety in their lives.
What does it take to be a Children’s Summer Drop-In Program Assistant? You love children and youth and have a strong desire to provide them with opportunities to learn, grow and have fun. You are interested in social justice and supporting children and youth who have experienced trauma and loss.
The position is supported through funding by the Canada Summer Jobs program, applicants need to be between the ages of 16 and 30 years old. People of Indigenous heritage, fluency in French are assets. Persons of differing abilities are encouraged to apply.
