The Together Against Violence Team at Community Services provides programs that support people whose lives have been impacted by violence and trauma. Programs provide crisis intervention, shelter, counselling, advocacy and non-judgmental emotional and practical support. We are currently filling the following positions:

Family Support Worker – Thyme Second Stage Transition
Term Position to November 27, 2020 (or return of incumbent) Maternity leave coverage – 20 hours per week $24.36 per hour
We are seeking a non-judgmental individual with a knowledge of trauma-informed practices. A post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent experience is required. This position requires union membership.
If you are interested in this opportunity, a post-secondary degree in a related field, or the equivalent in education and experience is an asset. Please note that the above position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
