We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Fleet Manager to join our team! This role will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are well-maintained and operational, with a focus on managing repairs, inspections, and overall vehicle upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
• Keep oil changes up to date for all vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure annual motor vehicle inspections are completed for relevant equipment.
• Organize repairs, including:
o Booking appointments for service.
o Ordering parts and checking prices with suppliers
o Coordinating the delivery and pick-up of vehicles for repairs.
• Track vehicle assignments and whereabouts of unused equipment.
• Maintain an up-to-date record of drivers and ensure the office has a copy of their current driver's license.
• Ensure shared vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and consistently filled with gas.
• Address minor vehicle issues such as:
o Dead batteries.
o Flat tires.
o Small repairs (e.g., broken handles, dead bulbs).
• Drive vehicles to Vancouver for servicing or other needs as required.
Qualifications:
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be comfortable driving vehicles to Vancouver and other locations as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and minor repairs is a plus.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• First aid training is a bonus.
