List of Requirements: We need labourers to help us get our RV Park open! Check out what we’re doing at www.pinetreecommunity.ca. Westcoast Endeavours ULC is interested in hiring labourers, as employees, on a temporary basis to get the RV Park open. The ideal candidate would be hard-working, have a great attitude, be willing to learn in this transitioning environment, helping to welcome the first guests. You will be asked for current government picture ID as a part of the hiring process. Also you need to provide your own reliable transportation to and from the site at Pine Tree Road south of town; ideally you have your own vehicle/wheels. Folks local to Powell River are ideal; no travel is offered for this position.
List of Duties:
We need help laying sod, cleaning up construction waste, furnishing tiny homes, helping with large recycling, hand digging small trenches. Must be able to work outside, work around moving equipment, and be spatially aware of your surroundings.
The ability to safely use powered and non-powered hand tools is a bonus.
There is a potential for longer term work, which may include lawn mowing, flower bed tending, and general eyes-and-ears at the Park, once open.
