The Viking Alliance is a mid-water freezer trawler active for 11 months of the year, trips generally last between 10-14 days. Crew members generally work on a 2 trip on, one trip off rotation. The vessel unloads in North Vancouver.

Qualifications: Factory experience is required, vessel experience is preferred. Commercial fishing license required (Fish Harvesters Card)
Job Overview: Primary duties include feeding machines to head/tail; loading and unloading plate freezers (50 lb blocks of fish product), stacking blocks in the fish hold.
Accommodations: Sleeping quarters (shared rooms), bathrooms, mud room, laundry facilities, galley on board (TV with cable provided but no WIFI available at this time). Full time cook provides 3 meals a day with each crew member paying an equal share in grub costs. All areas are expected to be kept clean, as they are shared living quarters.
Required gear: Steel toed rubber boots, rain gear (pants and jacket), warm clothing, bedding (pillow and sheet/blankets, toiletries (towel etc.)
