Interior,
Rebuilt and insulated V-berth area, newly renovated head with composting toilet (some minor work required that I’m currently unable to complete but fully functional) and the toilet faces aft now so you don’t fall off on port tack, leaking windows in cabin sides were repaired properly with new epoxy coated wood and then painted giving Starlight a much brighter interior than other 35/3’s, all windows resealed. All upholstery is clean.

Dickinson propane fireplace and bus heater, 4 burner stove with oven, BBQ, refrigeration, Isotherm hot water, Xantrex True Charge 2 battery charger, AGM start battery & 4 golf cart house batteries, Xintex Firebox propane solenoid and sniffer, recently re-certified aluminum propane tanks, DC to AC inverter.
Electronics,
VHF with remote mic, Raymarine auto pilot & speed/depth, Standard Horizon plotter.
Sails and rigging,
Dynemma halyards, new rope clutches, new mainsheet blocks, adjustable jib cars, full batton main, 3 headsails (all for the Harken furler), new headsail sock, excellent asymmetrical spinny.
Engine and prop,
Under 350 hours on the Universal diesel, 3 blade Kiwi prop, spare zincs, impellers and all filters.
On deck,
Bruce anchor with 100’ of chain and 200’ of rope (rope has never been wet), electric windlass, good/okay canvas (some minor restitching required), 100 watts of solar (expandable).
Everything works, Starlight is clean and ready to go!
I suffered an injury to my arm that involved tendon damage. While taking it easy I came across a boat I’ve been looking for for quite a while. Starlight was our “Performance Cruiser”, a Cal 20 is the racer. The new boat makes for 3 in the water. As great a boat as it is, Starlight needs to go. Located in Madeira Park, Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast.
